Welcome to Bull Dog Mike who had a great showing his first time out , thanks to Ryan Lund for helping with the flagging and driving in the 8-1 class . Ryan the FLETCH gave the spectators and his parents quite a scare when while in the lead try to add three feet to turn two , it did not work and Ryan took a bad roll hurting his ankle . After ten minutes of agony Ryan got back on only to have his tractor die on him , he was later carted to the hospital to be checked out and is waiting for a rematch against Skid Mark . Both Steve from route 11 Auto and Bill Britton lost forward thrust when their trannys let go but will be ready to go on the 24th.

Still waiting for the snow to melt , as soon as it does it will be time to take down the pit fencing and start building the new enlarged pit area to accommodate the crew coming in for the national races on Memorial day weekend . When that is done; its time to get to work on the track!

Still wondering why your tractor does not turn?

For those of you who missed the build clinic you may still be wondering, Aaron Crowl did a great job of explaining how to set up your chassis from how to stiffen your frame to caster, camber and king pin inclination. Aaron also explained the ackerman effect and showed us on properly set up tractor the results. So if your left front wheel is floating in the air on turns and your front end washing out you should have been there. We will try to schedule one more build clinic this year.

AMERICAN RACING MOWER ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT Aaron Cowl will be putting on a build clinic on February 5th (1:30) at RT 11 Auto Repair Steve is located on 909 Shapleigh Corner Road (RT 11 ) Shapleigh Maine. All questions regarding the building of mowers will be answered also rules and insurance will be addressed . He will be tearing down engines and trans axles to show the nuts and bolts of tractor building. Also national level tractors will be on display, you dont want to miss this opportunity to get the scoop on lawnmower racing !
